By using CrystalCareer, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CrystalCareer ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Sultanate of Oman. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Platform.
2. Eligibility
To use CrystalCareer, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under Omani law. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
- Job Seekers: Both Omani nationals and expatriates may register as job seekers.
- Employers: Must be a legally registered entity in the Sultanate of Oman with a valid Commercial Registration (CR) number.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration
- Not share your account credentials with any third party
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Maintain only one account per individual or company
CrystalCareer reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Omani-Only Positions
Omanization Policy: CrystalCareer supports Oman's national Omanization objectives under the Ministry of Labour and Social Development guidelines.
Employers may designate positions as "Omani Nationals Only" in compliance with applicable Omanization quotas and regulations. By marking a position as Omani-Only:
- The employer confirms this designation is legally compliant with Omani labour laws
- The Platform restricts applications to verified Omani nationals only
- Employers take sole responsibility for verification of national identity claims
- Job seekers who misrepresent their nationality may have their accounts suspended
5. Employer Obligations
Employers using CrystalCareer agree to:
- Post only genuine, available job vacancies
- Provide accurate job descriptions, requirements, and salary information
- Comply with Omani Labour Law No. 35/2003 and subsequent amendments
- Not discriminate on unlawful grounds in recruitment processes
- Respond to shortlisted candidates within reasonable timeframes
- Remove positions once filled or cancelled
6. Job Seeker Obligations
Job seekers agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information in their profiles and CVs
- Not apply for positions for which they are knowingly ineligible
- Not misrepresent nationality when applying for Omani-Only positions
- Treat employer communications with professionalism and respect
- Not use automated tools to mass-apply to positions
7. Content Standards
All content submitted to the Platform must not:
- Contain false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Violate any applicable Omani law or regulation
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of third parties
- Contain discriminatory, offensive, or harmful language
- Advertise illegal activities or services
8. Privacy & Data
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Oman's Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree No. 6/2022). Key points:
- CVs and profiles are only visible to verified employers
- You may request deletion of your data at any time
- We do not sell personal data to third parties
9. Payment & Plans
Premium subscription fees are charged in Omani Rials (OMR) and are subject to 5% VAT. Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced unless otherwise required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
CrystalCareer is a technology intermediary platform. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, verify all employer claims, or take responsibility for the accuracy of third-party job listings. To the maximum extent permitted by Omani law, CrystalCareer's liability is limited to the fees paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Sultanate of Oman, with Muscat as the place of jurisdiction.
